6 years agoDetroit Red Wings right wing Andreas Athanasiou opened the scoring during a 3-1 loss to the Washington Capitals on Friday night. Athanasiou has six goals in his past seven games. The slick playmaker has produced 10 goals, five assists, and 65 shots through 18 games this season. Athanasiou has developed into a semi-consistent scorer. He is a fixture in the Red Wings top six and heavily utilized on the power play. Athanasiou should be owned in all formats with more than 12 teams.
