6 years agoLos Angeles Angels shortstop Andelton Simmons will be back in Saturday's lineup after a stint on the 10-day disabled list with an ankle sprain. He is starting at shortstop and batting fifth against the Oakland Athletics. Pundits figured that Simmons would require a minor league rehab assignment before returning, but this quick recovery is a welcomed sight for fantasy owners. Simmons was having a fantastic season before his injury as he is carrying a sturdy .330/.399/.460 slash line to go along with four home runs, 34 RBI, and five stolen bases.
