6 years agoLos Angeles Angels shortstop Andrelton Simmons (shoulder) is expected to play on Thursday. Simmons has missed about a week with a shoulder strain suffered back on March 6. The injury was never considered serious, and Simmons should be fine by opening day. The shorstop slugged 14 home runs and stole 19 bases last season. He is a fine middle infield option in the later rounds of fantasy drafts.--patton
