6 years agoThe Los Angeles Angels released their lineup for the first game of the Freeway series against the Dodgers, and shortstop Andrelton Simmons is hitting eighth. Simmons hit in the top half of the order for a huge chunk of the 2017 season, but offseason additions Ian Kinsler and Zack Cozart may push Simmons down toward the bottom of the order for 2018. This will obviously impact his fantasy value, as runs and RBI will be harder to come by at the bottom of the order. Simmons hit 14 home runs and had 19 stolen bases last year and is a very solid middle infield option toward the middle of standard fantasy drafts.--patton
