6 years agoLos Angeles Angels shortstop Andrelton Simmons is struggling to kick start his season as the team prepares to play the Tigers on Wednesday. Simmons will start and hit sixth Wednesday but is hitting .204 over his last 15 games. Simmons was hitting .306 over the course of April and May but an ankle injury landed him on the shelf. Since his return, Simmons is 22-for-95 (.231) with only five extra-base hits and seven runs batted in. It is clear that Simmons is either not completely 100% or his rhythm is off at the plate. A promising fantasy asset to begin the season is currently not fantasy viable right now.--Joey C - RotoBaller
