6 years agoLos Angeles Angels shortstop Andrelton Simmons continues to have a resurgent finish to the month of April and now has a six-game hit streak heading into an off-day on Monday. Simmons is slashing .333/.353/.545 over his last 66 at-bats and is hitting .375 during his hitting streak. The 29-year-old enjoyed a career season in 2018 and now is the team's primary cleanup hitter on most days. The arrow is certainly pointing up for Simmons moving forward and could be in line to best his 2018 numbers this season if he continues to see RBI-opportunities in the cleanup spot.--Joey C - RotoBaller
