5 years agoLos Angeles Angels shortstop Andrelton Simmons (ankle) has resumed swinging a bat, but there is no timeline for his return according to manager Brad Ausmus. The 29-year-old suffered a Grade 3 left ankle sprain and hasn't appeared in a game since May 20. Simmons has recorded 21 RBI and 56 hits in 195 plate appearances to go along with a .298 batting average. Simmons is worth owning in standard mixed leagues but he will not contribute heavily in the home run department.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBaller
