5 years agoLos Angeles Angels shortstop Andrelton Simmons is hitting .333 over his last seven games but is slugging only .257 in the month of September. Simmons was looking to build off a very solid 2018 season this year but an ankle injury derailed a strong start. After hitting .313 in May, his season has gone down the tubes. In 43 games since the All-Star break, Simmons is slashing only .234/.301/.304 with only seven extra-base hits spanning 158 at-bats. A player that had plenty of potential to begin the season will finish it on the waiver wire.--Joey C - RotoBaller
