2 years agoCleveland Guardians second baseman Andres Gimenez went 1-for-3 with a three-run homer and a walk in a 7-3 win over the Kansas City Royals on Monday. Gimenez's three-run shot in the eighth inning broke a 3-3 tie between the division rivals and wound up being the winning blow. The 23-year-old infielder is hitting .287 with five homers, 15 runs, 23 RBI, and three steals over 122 at-bats for Cleveland in 2022.
