2 years agoCleveland Guardians infielder Andres Gimenez isn't in the team's lineup on Wednesday for a game against the San Diego Padres and left-handed starter Blake Snell. The 23-year-old is batting .309 with a .375 on-base percentage, 15 home runs, and 15 stolen bases in 404 plate appearances this season. Tyler Freeman will get the start at second base instead and hit seventh against Snell and the Padres. So far this season in the Majors, Freeman is hitting .227 with a .393 on-base percentage and a stolen base in 28 plate appearances.
