4 years agoCleveland Indians shortstop Andres Gimenez had another solid day at the plate Tuesday as he went 2-for-2 with a two-run shot in the fifth inning off Mariners reliever Erik Swanson. This makes Gimenez 4-for-4 in his first two Spring Training games with the Tribe. The Indians have high expectations for the newcomer as he slashed .263/.333/.398 with three HR and eight SB in his first major league action in 2020 and he was also a key piece in the Francisco Lindor deal. Gimenez could provide excellent value at the shortstop position in 2021 as he is likely to garner everyday at-bats with Cleveland.--Kipp Heisterman - RotoBaller
