6 years agoBoston Red Sox outfielder Andrew Benintendi scored a run and notched three hits, including a fifth inning double in Wednesday's 8-0 win over the Royals. The 24-year-old is on a modest four-game hitting streak and is now slashing .268/.364/.423. He was moved to the two spot in the batting order on May 31 and has hit there since, with Mookie Betts assuming the leadoff role. Benintendi has been hampered by a 23 K%, which is likely the cause for the shifting in lineup spot. Nonetheless, he is a vital part of Boston's lineup, and fans and fantasy owners alike would enjoy a spike to his current six home runs, 26 RBI, and 29 runs. He'll face lefty Danny Duffy Thursday, before the Sox open a three game home series with Tampa Bay over the weekend.--Steve Janik - RotoBaller
