3 years agoKansas City Royals outfielder Andrew Benintendi is headed to the 10-day IL with a right rib injury, according to Kansas City Royals broadcaster, Joel Goldberg. Benintendi injured the rib on a throw in this past weekend's series against Oakland. It is a hairline fracture and his timetable for a return is not yet know. This comes as a major blow to fantasy players as he was having a strong season slashing .283/.340/.429 with eight home runs and 31 RBI on the young season.--Kipp Heisterman - RotoBaller
