2 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Andrew Benintendi (wrist) has been placed on the 10-day injured list with right wrist inflammation. Benintendi hurt his wrist in Friday's game against the Rays, and although X-rays came back negative, he will head to the IL and miss at least the next 10 days. It is unfortunate timing, as the 28-year-old lefty has been hot recently, going 14-for-41 (.341) with two homers and a stolen base over his last 11 games. While he's out, expect Aaron Hicks and Oswaldo Cabrera to pick up more playing time. Benintendi can be dropped in most leagues that don't have IL spots.--Matt Garon - RotoBaller
