6 years agoBoston Red Sox outfielder Andrew Benintendi finally snapped his long-ball drought on Friday evening with a three-run shot against the Baltimore Orioles. While Benintendi has a .350 average over his past 30 games, he had not hit a home run since July 7. Benintendi now has 15 blasts on the season to go along with his .305 average, 70 RBI, and 20 stolen bases. The Red Sox have put up a ridiculous 72 runs through eight games in August.
