5 years agoAfter starter Charlie Morton was removed with two outs in the fifth inning, Boston Red Sox outfielder Andrew Benintendi hit the first pitch from Tampa reliever Adam Kolarek 358 feet over the Green Monster. Benintendi still only has 11 home runs on the season but has now hit four in his past eight games and is slashing .298/.359/.524 since the beginning of July.
