6 years agoBoston Red Sox outfielder Andrew Benintendi was 3-for-5 with an RBI in Wednesday's 9-8 win over the Atlanta Braves. Benintendi got a couple days off on September 2 and September 4 due to a lengthy slump. In the games after those off days, Benintendi has responded with back-to-back multi-hit performances. If Benintendi can get back to his early-season form, it would be a massive boost for fantasy owners currently engaged in a playoff battle. The 24-year-old still has a sparkling stat line for the season with a .292 average, 97 runs scored, 16 homers, 78 RBI, and 20 stolen bases.
