6 years agoBoston Red Sox left fielder Andrew Benintendi will get Sunday off, while second baseman Dustin Pedroia will bat leadoff and be the designated hitter and Steve Pearce will play first base and bat third on Sunday against the Baltimore Orioles. Pedroia has two hits, one run batted in and a run scored since returning from the injured list on Tuesday. Pearce has just one hit in 10 at-bats since returning from the injured list on April 4. J.D. Martinez will play left field for Benintendi and bat fourth, while Eduardo Nunez will play second base and bat sixth against left-hander John Means. Martinez and Betts are the standard DFS options in a struggling Sox lineup, but Pedroia batting leadoff puts him in a spot to score some runs on Sunday.--Steve Janik - RotoBaller
