Andrew Cashner Earns Win Saturday With Offensive Help
6 years agoBaltimore Orioles starting pitcher Andrew Cashner improved to 5-2 despite a lackluster start in Saturday's win against the Rockies. Cashner pitched five innings, allowing five runs on eight hits (including a three-run home run) and no walks with five strikeouts. The 32-year-old has been mediocre this season, posting a 4.55 ERA with 48 strikeouts and 20 walks in 59 1/3 IP. However, he can be a cheap daily fantasy play in favorable matchups. One of those matchups could be his next scheduled start at home against the Giants.
