6 years agoBaltimore Orioles starting pitcher Andrew Cashner (back) received a positive MRI on his lower back Wednesday, per PressBoxonline.com's Rich Dubroff. Cashner was placed on the 10-day disabled list Tuesday with lower back soreness but is hopeful that he can return next week to pitch against the Nationals. The 31-year-old has struggled this season, posting a 4.98 ERA and a 1.69 WHIP in 72 1/3 innings, giving him little relevance in fantasy leagues except in deeper leagues.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
