Andrew Cashner's Solid Start Cut Short By Rain
7 years agoBaltimore Orioles starting pitcher Andrew Cashner had a solid but short outing on Wednesday in a rain-soaked game against the Nationals. Cashner allowed no runs on three hits and no walks with two strikeouts in four innings. A several hour rain delay ended Cashner's night early. The 31-year-old has struggled this season, posting a 4.72 ERA and a 1.64 WHIP in 76 1/3 IP. He is slated to face a tough Mariners team in his next start and should not be trusted by fantasy players.
