3 years agoChicago Cubs relief pitcher Andrew Chafin is on the verge of being traded to the Oakland Athletics, according to Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic. There's no word yet on what the return would be, but Chafin would be a solid boost to Oakland's bullpen, as he is 0-2 with a 2.06 ERA, 0.839 WHIP and 24.7 percent strikeout rate over 39 1/3 innings of work. He could be a good pickup in SV/HLD formats, as he could see a slight uptick in holds pitching for a better Oakland squad.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
