2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Andrew Heaney allowed three unearned runs during his club's 8-3 win over the Padres on Saturday, but was credited with a no-decision since he fell one out shy of pitching five innings. Heaney pitched well by retiring nine-straight batters at one point, but a potential inning-ending double play ball that was muffed by Gavin Lux in the fourth allowed three runs to come around to score that inning. Through 28 IP on the year, the lefty owns an outstanding 0.64 and 1.00 WHIP with 37 K, but will likely stay on a pitch count to ease him back in after a shoulder injury sidelined him for most of the year. He'll face off with the Royals in his next scheduled start from Kauffman Stadium next weekend.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
