4 years agoLos Angeles Angels starter Andrew Heaney will take the mound Tuesday against the Giants in San Francisco. Heaney has been mediocre, at best, this season despite an impressive 11.06 K/9 rate. It has been a frustrating season thus far for the talented left-handed starter, especially in the first inning of games. Heaney is posting an 8.00 ERA in the first inning of games, including a .350 batting average. That number will have to improve to become a viable fantasy asset in standard formats moving forward. Heaney may have his highest ceiling when pitching in road games this season, sporting a 1.14 WHIP and 4.29 ERA through four road starts.--Joey C - RotoBaller
