2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers left-hander Andrew Heaney (shoulder) will likely return from the injured list to start on Wednesday against the Washington Nationals, according to skipper Dave Roberts. The Dodgers play on 18 consecutive days to open the second half of the season, so they will go with a six-man starting rotation during that stretch. Heaney, 31, threw five innings in his final minor league rehab start last week, so he's ready to return to LA's rotation for the second half of the season. He only allowed one earned run while striking out 23 and walking four in his three starts for the Dodgers this season, and despite the great matchup against the Nats, Heaney is likely to have his pitch count limited in his first start back.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
