3 years agoLos Angeles Angels starting pitcher Andrew Heaney (6-7) pitched well in Thursday's 3-2 win against the Minnesota Twins. He threw seven innings while giving up two runs, two walks, no home runs and striking out seven while securing the victory. His biggest issue this year has been the long ball, so it's a good sign that he was able to keep the Twins in the park. His ERA is still an unpleasant 5.32, but he has a 27.9 K% and 7.4 BB%. Fantasy managers can roster him for his strikeout upside, but they must be wary of the elevated ERA and the occasional blowup outing.--Spencer Seguin - RotoBaller
