4 years agoLos Angeles Angels starter Andrew Heaney will toe the rubber against Clayton Kershaw and the Dodgers for his final start of the season on Friday. After a rough month of August, Heaney has rebounded by posting a 3.16 ERA over his last four starts. He is posting a 1.01 WHIP during that span with 26 strikeouts over his last 25 2/3 innings pitched. The talent and strikeouts are certainly there to make Heaney a fantasy starter but his consistency continues to hold him back from reaching another tier of productivity. Heaney lasted 5 2/3 innings against the Dodgers on August 15, walking four and allowing four runs. The left-handed starter lacks fantasy appeal for Friday's slate of games.--Joey C - RotoBaller
