7 years agoLos Angeles Angels starter Andrew Heaney (elbow) indicated that he is ready to pitch. The Angels have openings on both Thursday and Friday of this week, and Heaney will likely take one of those two spots. Heaney looked very solid in a rehab start at Single-A, so it is no surprise that he is nearing a big league return. With Matt Shoemaker and JC Ramirez on the shelf, the Angels could really use a healthy Heaney. He's worth an add in deeper leagues and could retain mixed league value as the year goes on.--patton
