6 years agoLos Angeles Angels starter Andrew Heaney was roughed up by the Mariners on Monday. He surrendered five runs on seven hits in just three innings of work. He walked one and struck out two. Three long balls were his undoing, as Nelson Cruz tagged him for two and Ryon Healy got him for one. Heaney had been on a roll lately, and this is hopefully just a small setback for the left-hander. He sports a 3.67 ERA and a 1.17 WHIP on the year and faces the A's in Oakland next.--patton
