7 years agoWorking his way back from shoulder inflammation that cropped up near the end of Spring Training, Angels pitcher Andrew Heaney had a great start Friday night in a rehab assignment with Single-A Inland Empire. Heaney allowed only one run on two hits while striking out six over 6 1/3 innings to earn the win. He is eligible to come off the disabled list next week, and he should find himself back with the Angels right away. Heaney has dealt with injuries for much of the past few seasons, but if he stays healthy he can be a high-strikeout fantasy pitcher in Los Angeles this season. For now he's going to mostly be an add in deeper leagues, but if he can prove he's healthy and consistent he could end up being worth owning in 10-team leagues.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
