2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers left-hander Andrew Heaney (shoulder) will rejoin the team's starting rotation this coming week, according to manager Dave Roberts. The Dodgers are in a stretch of 18 games in a row, so they could use a six-man rotation for a while. Heaney went five innings in a minor league rehab start in the Arizona Complex League on Thursday after going 2 2/3 frames for Single-A Rancho Cucamonga last weekend, so it looks like he's stretched out enough to return to the big-league rotation. The 31-year-old southpaw is a good bet to return for next week's series against the Washington Nationals. Heaney has made only three starts in his first year with the Dodgers, but he's allowed only one earned run while striking out 23 and walking four in 15 1/3 innings, so he should be rostered in most fantasy leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
