6 years agoLos Angeles Angels starter Andrew Heaney (elbow) will throw an 80-90 pitch bullpen on Friday. If all goes well, he could be in line to start the Angels game on April 12, when they next need an extra starter. Heaney has been battling elbow inflammation since the end of spring training, but looks like he will be ready to go in short order. Heaney has good strikeout numbers, but his 7.06 ERA from last year means he should be left on the waiver wire until he strings together a handful of solid starts.--patton
