3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said that he projects pitchers Andrew Heaney and Tony Gonsolin as starters to begin the season. Left-hander Tyler Anderson will serve as a piggyback option out of the bullpen. Veteran southpaw David Price isn't an option as a starter because he's not built up enough. Heaney will fill in through the first turn in the rotation to begin the season while Trevor Bauer remains on the restricted list, while Gonsolin is the favorite for the fifth spot in the rotation. There's a possibility that Bauer remains out for the foreseeable future, too, so Heaney could become quite attractive in mixed leagues despite a 5.83 ERA and 1.32 WHIP in 129 2/3 innings with the Los Angeles Angels and New York Yankees in 2021.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
