Andrew McCutchen Blasts Two-Run Homer Versus Giants
3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Andrew McCutchen went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer in a loss to the Giants on Friday. McCutchen has been on fire since the calendar flipped to June as he's got a 1.201 OPS with five homers and eight walks against just six strikeouts since June 1. This hot streak coincides with 'Cutch being removed from the leadoff spot which seems to have helped him find his power stroke. McCutchen is a sneaky starter for fantasy in his next two games as the Giants are starting left-handers in each of the next two games. McCutchen is batting .295 this season versus southpaws compared to .178 versus righties this year.
