3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Andrew McCutchen (knee) is out of the lineup Sunday and considered day-to-day, according to The Athletic. "We'll see how he feels as he progresses in a couple of days," manager Joe Girardi said. McCutchen, who exited Saturday's loss to the Pittsburgh Pirates, has right knee stiffness. He has had a solid year at the plate, slashing .234/.353/.462 with 20 home runs, 58 RBI, 55 runs, and six stolen bases thus far. If he does have to miss extended time, expect Luke Williams and Travis Jankowski, who is playing center field and batting second on Sunday, to get more reps in the outfield. Once he returns, he can continue as a starter in many formats, especially OBP leagues.--Josh Friedman
