5 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Andrew McCutchen had a big afternoon Thursday going 2-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored. McCutchen now has nine hits and seven RBI in his past five games. The 32-year-old outfielder may not be what he once was in his prime, but he's still a must-start fantasy option. McCutchen is walking at a 16.6 percent rate which is sixth in the Majors. His .383 on-base percentage is higher than it's been since 2015 when he was with Pittsburgh, so give him even more of a boost in leagues that reward walks or use OBP as a category. As long as McCutchen is getting on base at this rate, expect plenty of run-scoring opportunities batting leadoff in a very good Phillies lineup. Expect this hot streak to carry into a weekend series in hitter-friendly Miller Park in what could be a very high-scoring series with the Brewers.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
