3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Andrew McCutchen (knee) has been placed on the 10-day injured list retroactive to August 1. McCutchen exited Saturday's 3-2 to loss to the Pittsburgh Pirates due to knee soreness. The news is undoubtedly disappointing for fantasy managers, given the veteran right-hander is slashing .234/.353/.462 with 20 home runs, 58 RBI, and six stolen bases on 77 hits this season. Odubel Herrera will continue filling in at left field and will bat eighth on Monday against Washington Nationals right-hander Josiah Gray.--Chelena Goldman
