3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Andrew McCutchen went 2-for-4 with a home run, a double, three RBI, and two walks in a win over the Nationals on Wednesday. Man, did McCutchen need a game like this as the veteran outfielder finished August with just a .155 batting average as he's been ice-cold over the past few weeks. As bad of a month as it was for McCutchen, he still made contact at a 41.5% rate, his second-highest hard-hit rate in any month this season, so fantasy managers can expect 'Cutch to turn things around heading into September.
