Andrew Triggs Leaves Game Due To Nerve Discomfort
7 years agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher Andrew Triggs left the game due to right forearm nerve discomfort, according to Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle. He abruptly left the third inning after throwing six consecutive balls. Triggs' season has not been an encouraging one thus far. He has a 5.31 ERA with 42 strikeouts in 39 innings but leads the team in walks with 16. Triggs shouldn't be owned in most leagues, especially after this troubling injury.
