4 years agoChicago White Sox first base prospect Andrew Vaughn and second base prospect Nick Madrigal are among the 44 players the White Sox have chosen for their 60-man player pool so far. Madrigal was expected to be with the big league club at some point this year and would be worth a look in all formats. The second baseman hit .311 with 27 doubles, 55 RBI and 35 stolen bases in 473 at-bats in Single-A to Triple-A. Vaughn was projected as the best college bat in last year's draft and hit six home runs with 36 RBI, but he hasn’t played above the High-A level yet. With Edwin Encarnacion and Jose Abreu both available to play first base and designated hitter, it is unlikely Vaughn makes an impact this season. Vaughn should still be a name for all owners to keep an eye for next year.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
