4 years agoChicago White Sox first baseman/outfielder Andrew Vaughn went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run in Game 2 of Friday's doubleheader. Vaughn has really been seeing the ball well of late and has now hit two dingers in his last four games. Vaughn wasn't getting much playing time at the beginning of the year, but injuries forced manager Tony La Russa's hand and the rookie has made the most of the chances given to him. Vaughn is a good contact hitter with plus power and managers should take note. Vaughn is now hitting .259 with two home runs and nine RBI on the season. He will look to keep it going versus Mike Minor on Saturday.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
