3 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder/first baseman Andrew Vaughn (hand) will "most probably" be placed on the 10-day injured list ahead of Friday's series opener against the Boston Red Sox. He's been sidelined since last Friday after being hit in the hand by a pitch. It's unclear exactly how much time Vaughn will miss. X-rays came back negative on Vaughn's hand, and he remains day-to-day. The 24-year-old is slashing .283/.367/.566 with four home runs, 12 RBI, and five runs scored over 16 games in 2022. Adam Engel and Gavin Sheets should see an increase in playing time while Vaughn is sidelined.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
