3 years agoChicago White Sox first baseman/outfielder Andrew Vaughn put together a big day to end the first half on Sunday. Vaughn went 2-for-4 with two runs and four RBI. Both of Vaughn's hits were the result of a home run. Vaughn hit a solo home run in the top of the fourth inning and a three-run home run in the top of the sixth inning. Vaughn closes the first half on a high note and has been on fire in the month of July with a .351 batting average and three home runs. Vaughn was one of the most hyped prospects coming into the season, but he got off to a slow start. Despite his slow start, Vaughn has been a regular for the White Sox and managers should consider him moving forward in all formats.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
