Andrew Vaughn Getting Work At Third Base
4 years agoChicago White Sox first base prospect Andrew Vaughn has been getting practice at third base. Manager Rick Renteria said "He has all the makings of being able to play that position." A move to third base would likely allow Vaughn to get to the big leagues significantly faster, because Jose Abreu is firm at first base and Edwin Encarnacion has the designated hitter spot locked up. Vaughn was projected the best college bat in last years draft and hit six home runs with 36 RBI, but hasn’t played above the High-A level yet. Vaughn is a name that should be considered by owners in redraft leagues and should already be owned in dynasty leagues.
