Andrew Vaughn Limited To First Base
2 years agoChicago White Sox first baseman/outfielder Andrew Vaughn (leg) is dealing with leg soreness that has limited him to playing first base and serving as the team's primary designated hitter across the last six games. According to White Sox manager Tony La Russa, "when you see him running, if he's not running as hard as you think he could, it's because he's been told play under control, play under control. If he were 100% legs, he'd be in right field again instead of first base. The good news for fantasy managers is that Vaughn has remained in the lineup despite dealing with leg soreness. The 24-year-old has recently been locked in at the plate, collecting multi-hit efforts in six of his last nine games. Fantasy managers should continue to roll with Vaughn while he's wielding a hot bat.
