Andrew Vaughn Out 1-2 Weeks With Hip Pointer
3 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Andrew Vaughn (hip) has been diagnosed with a hip pointer injury, or bruised pelvis, and is currently projected to return to game action in the next one to two weeks. Vaughn was carted off the field during a Cactus League game on Sunday after he made a diving catch in the fourth inning. The 23-year-old could begin the regular season on the injured list, but he appears to have avoided a long-term absence to kick off the 2022 campaign. He had his ups and downs in his rookie season last year, but Vaughn is still a fine late-round target with four-category upside in a strong White Sox lineup.
