4 years agoChicago White Sox first baseman/outfielder Andrew Vaughn will rest on Sunday versus the Los Angeles Angels. The highly touted prospect has started the last two games, but is hitless in his first six at-bats with a walk and run scored. With the recent emergence of Yermin Mercedes at the designated hitter spot, Vaughn's easiest way to playing time will be in left field. It's still way too early to worry about Vaughn and managers should remain patient with the young prospect. Outfielder Billy Hamilton will replace Vaughn and bat eighth versus Shohei Ohtani on Sunday night and can be avoided in DFS.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
