3 years agoLos Angeles Rams left tackle Andrew Whitworth announced his retirement from professional football on Tuesday on his Instagram page. The writing was on the wall when the Rams signed offensive tackle Joe Noteboom to a big deal on Monday to take over the starting left tackle duties. It's not a surprise that the 40-year-old decided to ride off into the sunset after winning the Super Bowl in February. Whitworth was a two-time All-Pro and four-time Pro Bowler in his decorated 16-year NFL career. He spent the first 11 seasons of his career toiling away with the Cincinnati Bengals before joining the Rams for the last five seasons. Whitworth also won the Walter Payton Man of the Year award in 2021.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
