3 years agoChicago Bears quarterback Andy Dalton suddenly is in line to play a lot more in the team's second preseason game against the Bills on Saturday. Rookie backup quarterback Justin Fields was held out of practice on Wednesday with a groin injury. The team told the press they are being "overly cautious" with Fields and that caution could easily translate over to Saturday. This development points towards more snaps on the field for the starter Dalton and also more playing time for third-stringer Nick Foles. Dalton played only two series in the first preseason matchup and this could be an opportunity to build more chemistry in a new offense.--Joey C - RotoBaller
