3 years agoChicago Bears head coach Matt Nagy announced that quarterback Andy Dalton will start on Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings in the Week 18 regular season finale. Rookie Justin Fields was placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list this week, and it was expected all along that Dalton would make the start if Fields wasn't cleared from the league's protocols. The 34-year-old Red Rifle has a good matchup against the Vikings, who have allowed the fifth-most fantasy points per game to QBs this year, but Dalton has been extremely mediocre in his last three starts. In his last three starts against the Lions, Cardinals and Giants, he's gone 68-for-115 for 719 yards, four touchdowns and six interceptions. You can find better QB2 options.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
